The question of “Why do business with Grayhawk?” is largely found in our name. When I decided to leave the warm confines of a large corporation and “flesh” out the concepts of sales and marketing that I have advocated the past ten years the name of my company was extremely important. The people that chose to leave the corporation with me spoke volumes for our spirit, and our name had to reflect that spirit.

 Proposal Support

The traditional wholesaler simply faxes a quote. More often than not the quote is faxed one or two hours before you are to propose the account. Grayhawk is not that type of an operation. Yes, if it is a small account and that is all that you need we will fax the quote and make sure that you have it on time. But we will do much more!

We have discovered that if the local agent had a little bit more support he can win a lot more often. On middle market and larger accounts we will be glad to assist you in the actual preparation of the proposal. We want you to have a professional presentation at the time of the proposal.

We will have diagnosed the account for weaknesses and called them to your attention.  Further, we will have developed creative financing that may be as good as twelve equal payments.

  Sales Support

One of the most important pieces of winning the nice account is the actual presentation.  Unique to Grayhawk is our proven, historical ability to sell insurance. We know how and are willing to allow you to benefit from that ability.

Gary Johnson will assist you in the preparation for the sales presentation and physically go with you and help you close the sale. This added value is unheard of in the wholesale industry. While others are faxing you a quote, we will be hand delivering the quote and going with you to present it.

Further, if we need to bring an entire account team in to demonstrate our service commitment, we will organize for the underwriter, claims, loss control, and service team to be present. We want you to be the victor and we will pull out all of the “toys” to do it.

 Conclusion

We want to be your business partner. We will support you for your small business and we will give you all of our talent on the larger account. We will represent you to admitted carriers and non-admitted. We will help you market it, propose it, and sell it.

What do we want? We need you to be committed to a business relationship. We can not be used simply to quote or to block a market – we will not do that. The basic premise of a business deal is that it is good for all parties. 

When an agent uses an intermediary to simply benchmark his renewal quote it ceases being a good business deal for all parties. When he uses an intermediary to block a market it ceases being a good business deal. When an agent fails to qualify his prospects and closes ten percent of what he quotes it ceases being a good business deal.

Every agent will not be right for Grayhawk, but those who want more than a quote will find a relationship that will take their agency to the next level.
